DAOISM consortium meeting
Organizer(s) : Maryvonne Gerin (LUX)
Location : Observatoire de Paris, Site de Meudon
The ANR DAOISM project aims to develop our understanding of the interstellar medium at all scales, and in particular to understand the role of feedback effects on the structure and formation activity of molecular clouds, and how this effect can be detected even in low-resolution observations of molecular clouds in outer galaxies. The ORION-B consortium, which is leading the ANR DAOISM project together with members of the PHANGS consortium, brings together astrophysicists and signal processing specialists to answer these questions.
The consortium meets twice a year, and holds weekly videoconferences. This meeting is particularly important as the ANR project draws to a close. It’s time to take stock of the project and reflect on the prospects that lie ahead. The meeting should also provide the opportunity to gather all the elements needed to produce the balance sheet document for the ANR.
